Its Been A While

So its been a while since I've wrote on here. I started this blog thinking i could post some stuff about planning my wedding and forgot about it for a while, sorry. But i am back now and determined to keep up with it this time.

So the planning! I've been making invitations non stop because i thought it would be cheap to do them my self, but oh my gosh its hard work. Though I am proud to say I am almost done. Yay me!

My dad surprised the hell out of me these past couple weeks. A while back i asked him for help with paying for our wedding venue and he agreed to pay for all of it. Then he said he wanted to help with the DJ and well long story short my father has decided to pay for the venue, the DJ, the photographer, the cake, the food, and the drinks. I am at lost for words to describe how grateful i am for him doing all of this. We had planned on paying for everything ourselves and the fact that my father wants to do it just blows me away. I know what some of you are thinking, trust me. Your probably thinking "Oh he must of not done much for her growing up and wants to repay her by paying for her wedding." but its not that at all. He just wants to be a good dad and do this for me. It just surprises me because I didn't expect him to pay for all of that. I'm the kind of person that doesn't really like to ask for help so for some one to offer, and offer so much, it just throws me back a little. Because of him my wedding day will be more then i would have ever dreamed it would be. I will now have a photographer, which i could never afford with out his help. I'll also be able to get more food and drinks which is great because our guest list has gone from 200 people to over 300 people. I know he wont be reading this but, thanks dad!
